Short Review (Summary): Excellent Monitor, 0 dead pixels, and very easy setup!! Looks great! NICE LARGE SCREEN! And works wonderfully well! I will be using this more over the next few days/weeks and will update this review while I do! Pictures should be coming soon!
My Use: I will be using this is my Microsoft Surface Tablet.. It works well and all I had to do is buy a cable that would fit my surface. I am NOT USING this with the surface dock, just a DVI cable
1.) Full HD – 1080P is full HD.. Yeah, their are higher res screens on the market, but be prepaired to pay more for those! 1080 is plenty if you are on a budget but want a crystal clear picture!
2.) Bright and Vibrant!
3.) Easy Setup – Like most new monitors or TVs, really all you have to do is screw on the base. Very simple! Everything else is done automatically (Like adjusting the picture) but if you are like me, you can always fine tune the picture. I do that because I love bright.
4.) Uses DVI or VGA – I do wish it has HDMI but it doesn’t.. That is my only con (See Cons)
5.) Quality is GREAT.. Don’t expect Apple quality but this is much better than the last AOC Monitor or other basic Big Box store monitors.. I have NEVER had one of those without a dead pixel (I might just have bad luck) but this Suvom DOES NOT have any dead pixels.. Build quality also seems nice, doesn’t feel cheap! As long as it last for a 4 or 5 years, I will be VERY HAPPY!!
6.) MAC AND WINDOWS – Works with both mac and Windows! No issues
7.) Works with Raspberry Pie – This also works with my raspberry pie!!! Great monitor for that if you are into those!
1.) No HDMI Ports
2.) No speakers but not a huge issue
Overall: This is better than most budget monitors on the market!! I am very happy with mine and it works very well for my needs.. I will be using it and keeping an eye on quality, but for the price i HIGHLY recommend this
